centre renovation, program relocation

Dear Community and Neighbours,
We would like to inform you of some exciting changes that are coming to Mill Courtland Community Centre. MCCC will be undergoing a renovation and addition, which will allow us to better serve the community in the long run. As a result, MCNA and HSCG will be temporarily relocating to a new site this Spring. We want to assure you that our commitment to providing quality programs and services remains unwavering.

Although, our physical location will be changing, our dedication to the community remains the same. We will continue to offer some of our programs, services, and support to you, and we are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. Our last program day will be June 20, 2025. The Centre will be closed for approximately 18 months.

We understand that this closure will cause inconvenience and for that, we apologize. We encourage you to keep in touch during this time and reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Email us at [email protected]. And continue to follow us on @millcourtlandassociations on Instagram. We will do our best to keep you updated on our progress and look forward to staying connected with the community.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Julie Allen-Gilbert, Chair of the Highland Stirling Community Group
Ron Williams and Jennifer Urosevic, Co-Chairs of the Mill Courtland Neighbourhood Association

Our community is enriched by the enduring knowledge and deep-rooted traditions of the diverse First Nations, Metis and Inuit PEOPLE in the neighbourhoods of Mill-Courtland and Highland-Stirling.

We are committed to creating equitable access to inclusive community programs that meet the diverse needs of community members. We do this through internal training on anti-racism and anti-hate, through partnerships with organizations that represent marginalized populations, and through the active recruitment of members of marginalized populations for leadership positions.
